This page contains information in regards to my own Shrimp food range, All of my food and products are homemade and I like to do it this way because then I know for sure what goes into my shrimp, you may ask why this is important ?
Well I believe in not just keeping shrimp but keeping them in optimal conditions and the best sign you are doing something right is when your shrimp mass breed like mine do.
I research and read for hours about all aspects of shrimp keeping from disease prevention to growth formulas and you would be surprised at just how much data and information can be obtained in a few hours of reading.
All of this information that I gather I then put into my own products to try and create the best possible product I can.
You can try this for yourself and see how you get on, if you dont fancy buying the large backs you can buy the sample sizes here
Shrimp Tip 2: Use a feeding dish, uneaten food in the substrate can and will go bad eventually leading to bacterial issues and lethargic shrimp.
Shrimp Tip 3: Before you buy shrimp from someone look in the tank they came from... no baby shrimp means they were Imported or the person selling the shrimp doesn't know what they are doing. I am not saying imports are bad BUT Imports are normally a more stressed shrimp which can lead to disease, parasites and death, make sure you buy from trusted people with good reputations.
I have no idea why I have been buying shrimp anywhere else but from mark. Just received my painted red’s today (Wednesday) in the U.K. These were dispatched on Monday. Super fast delivery and they all survived and look happy. Thanks for the extra shrimp too .
I will be buying again that is for certain.
Thank you Mark.
Marks Shrimp Tanks
As an shrimp keeper I have a wealth of knowledge dating back almost 30 years and I have been breeding and keeping freshwater aquarium shrimp such as Red Cherry Shrimp, Crystal Red Shrimp, Taiwan Bee Shrimp for about 10 years.
Early in 2016 I decided to start my own YouTube channel called Marks Shrimp Tanks which you can find here https://goo.gl/JMPwor
I started my own channel to help others learn how to keep freshwater aquarium shrimp and I hope I can spread my passion for this wonderful hobby.
