Here you will find a range of items that I grow or collect myself, all of these items are guaranteed to be shrimp safe and of course I use them all myself in all of my shrimp tanks.
Organics Tip 1: The meaning organic can mean something different in different countries so never take it for granted something is safe just because it says so on the packaging, Organic to me means it's never been treated with pesticides.
Organics Tip 2: 70% of pesticides can be removed by simple washing the item for a few minutes.
Organics Tip 3: Do not use anything collected by the roadside in a shrimp tank, exhaust fumes from vehicles can have all manner of toxic chemicals in them including carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde, benzene and lead, which will kill your shrimp.
Organics Tip 4: Fly spray can wipe out entire shrimp colonies even when used in other rooms, I do not allow anything that chemical kills insects into my house.
I have no idea why I have been buying shrimp anywhere else but from mark. Just received my painted red’s today (Wednesday) in the U.K. These were dispatched on Monday. Super fast delivery and they all survived and look happy. Thanks for the extra shrimp too .
I will be buying again that is for certain.
Thank you Mark.
Marks Shrimp Tanks
As an shrimp keeper I have a wealth of knowledge dating back almost 30 years and I have been breeding and keeping freshwater aquarium shrimp such as Red Cherry Shrimp, Crystal Red Shrimp, Taiwan Bee Shrimp for about 10 years.
Early in 2016 I decided to start my own YouTube channel called Marks Shrimp Tanks which you can find here https://goo.gl/JMPwor
I started my own channel to help others learn how to keep freshwater aquarium shrimp and I hope I can spread my passion for this wonderful hobby.
