Contains Lacto Bacteria, Clay, Montmorillonite, Zeolite.
Now I know there are other manufactures of the same thing that also make calcium based mineral stones but none of them are like this.
These cubes because of their composition slowly dissolve in soft water and barely dissolve at all in hard water. This gives you a slight KH reading which is very handing in a tank that has an inert substrate like sand or gravel. What does this mean for you ? well it gives you a solid PH.
So that is the first thing.
Secondly I have added Lactobacillus to these cubes to put beneficial bacteria into your tank, this helps keep your tank super clean and it also helps with your shrimps digestion. This is very important as it means your shrimp get the most out of what they eat meaning they breed better and live longer.
Third I have added algae into the mix, this means the shrimp will have food as long as the cube lasts without polluting the tank, this kind of thing is good if you go on vacation for a few days.
Dosage is different for every tank.I personaly would add one to a 60L tank and see what happens to it, In soft water it will dissolve in a few days, In my softwater neocaridina tanks I add one a week.
